I had no idea that my father needed substance abuse counseling because he was more than an alcoholic. I just found out that now, from my grandma, who thought that I knew. Now that she told me this, I have to convince her to tell me more because I didn’t know anything about my father. I mean, I knew him but not as well as somebody knows his or her father. My grandma told me that I should ask my mother, not her.
